Hi all,
Having recently moved, I'm not able to bring my main pc as I just don't have the space for it.
I've got a NAS drive/external drive for backups and all my data so no worries about needing masses of data.
The majority use of the laptop is mainly email, net, office products, a tiny amount video/audio/picture processing and the occasional bit of gaming (COD4 for example is the most graphic intense game I'd ever play).
Looking for around a 17" screen, whilst I know it's not really "portable" I have a netbook for when I'm out and about, this is going to be a replacement for my main pc so need a decent size screen if I'm going to be on it a lot.
Without linking to competitors can you offer me some suggestions? I've seen some HP Pavillion and Toshiba Satellites but open to other suggestions.
I guess having an i5 processor would be better in terms of performance, but are athlon x4 processors worth considering?
Thanks for your suggestions.
