As title folks, not for gaming purpose. Just general internet, email, etc.
Looking for intel processor i5-ish, graphics doesnt need to be anything special.
Had a quick peek at the Dell Inspiron 17 3000.

Budget around £600-£900 depending.

Any recommendations folks?

I had the Dell Inspiron 17 3000 and the screen was terrible , they don`t really do many 17" laptops anymore

So i went for the Dell Inspiron 15 5000 for £759

Windows 10
15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Anti-glare LED
AMD Ryzen(TM) 7 4700U Mobile Processor with
Radeon(TM)Graphics
16GB DDR4, 3200MHz

What was terrible about the 17" screen compared to the 15" one?

Im not limiting myself to Dell of course so if there are alternatives, happy to entertain them.
 
Have a look at Dell Precision 7740 on the Dell Outlet site. Starts around £900 with a 10% discount (student or wait for a regular discount code or just ask support).
