17" LCD Moniter Broken I think

I was on my pc and suddenly my moniter went off, i tried rebooting, turning the moniter off and on, I even put my spare graphics card in to see if it was really my moniter, nothing I have tried has worked so I am guessing it is broken. Does anyone know how much it usually costs to get an LCD moniter repaired? I dont want to get ripped off

probably about as much as it would cost you to buy a new one lol. is it covered on your home insurance? failing that i'd just save and get a decent one

Maybe stating the obvious but have you checked the power connection into the
back of the monitor.
Happened with mine when I moved things about
