1700x + Vega 64 PSU recommendation?

So with the AMD deals on, I picked up a Vega 64 which has spurred on a new build

Sapphire’s website recommends a massive 850W power supply to run this thing tho!

I’m sure that’s overkill and had the Seasonic Focus Plus 80+ Gold 650W in mind. Can anyone with more knowledge confirm if this would be okay?

Specs will be roughly...
1700X possible Overclocking down the line
Cryorig M9
The Vega 64 - definitely plan on Overclocking (2x 8 pin connectors needed!!)
1 SSD
1 HDD
4+ case fans

@pastymuncher thanks for the advice, I just went the full hog and grabbed a 850w. Figured for the sake of £20 which I've more than saved on a couple of the recent offers it won't hurt.

I'll definitely check out the owners thread as well to see what else I can get out of it, cheers

Looking on the Seasonic site they only supply it with 2x cables which both have the 2 connectors - that would drive my computer OCD mad having the 2nd unused plug on each cable!
Will have to invest in some extra single plug leads soon

As these are extensions rather than entire replacement cables, do you just leave the cable coming out of the PSU tucked in the back/bottom somewhere out of sight, and then only run the extension to where you need to?
If so have you noticed it affect airflow much?
