Hi guys,

thought id ask u all this as ive seen some of your posts and this forum obviously has a lot of knowledge.

Basically i am upgrading. And want a motherboard, cpu (preferrably 3800+ X2), and cpu cooler. I have £172 to spend and would like advice on what cooler and mobo to get. And even cpu if you think the above is a bad choice.

Basically i do a lot of video encoding, and will be gaming in months to come :)

many thanks for any help you people can give.

Welcome to the forums. :)

For the cooler id say the Arctic Cooler Freezer 64pro, a cracking cooler, and very quiet, got one here, not sure which mobo, or CPU would be better, but ive given you a start, albeit a small one. :)

Hope this helps :)

Its £2.02 over your budget but hopefully you can get that extra £2.02. The price is also including postage as well. If you can't get the extra money, you can always not bother buying the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler and use the heatsink/fan that comes with the CPU.
