Take a trip over to Islay if you can. I've visited the 7 distilleries there. It's a lovely place with great whisky. I'm a big fan of Islay malts.
Glenfiddich is rather rancid although I tried the Caoroan Reserve when in the duty free the other day and am considering buying a bottle. It was excellent :cool:
 
Yea. I couldn't really handle the Glenfiddich. It wasn't to my tastes but considering how enlightening and inspiring their tour was I wanted to purchase something and the Liquer was a good purchase for the price.

The Chivas distillery was about a minute walk from our front door there but was a fiver in, but the samples were worth it ;)
 
Bugger. I drove past that one today. Problem there, is a key word. DROVE.
