.

100% won't work. There's been a few people saying this because those who have seen the Wii connector say it's the same, but the more technical boffins and lucky sods who've had a go have said no way.

Nice!!!!

Still not decided myself 100%, apart from the Dell that is ;)

Got to try and be clever soon as I want my desk/office where it is, but be able to 'flip' between the chair and the sofa and take the controller with it.

So the Dell will act as a screen for work, 360 and Wii, but if needed, I'll be able to throw myself onto the sofa, take the MS wireless keyboard, 360 controller and Wiimote, flick an AV button the TV and have a nice big 32" screen to do exactly what I do now at my desk.

Plus the mrs will be able to play on the Wii (thank god Pikmin2 will still work!!), watch TV in glorious HDTV and when I kick her to bed, the sofa will still be warm! :D

Sorted...

But that TV you're going for does look very nice.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic but you seem to know a bit about what is the best connector to use :)

Is it better to use a RGB scart or a S-video connector for a games console

RGB scart by a long shot matey :)

Edit: Remember that the red/white/yellow(composite) plugs going into a scart is not RGB though and that SVideo is better than that option.

Thanks :D
