Sounds like the person you are buying for likes a whisky but isn't a connoisseur. I wouldn't bother spending loads but it's a nice idea so Glen Livet 18yold is a good bet, especially if it is on offer at Tesco at the moment. It's not a bad drop but I actually preferred the 15 yold to the 18yold when I bought both a while back.

well since she likes paddy's she like whiskey, and not whisky, so she likes a nice Irish.

there not so many 18 year old Irish whiskey and what there is you talking £60 +

if you looking something that has to be 18 years try Jameson 18 Year Old Limited Reserve, tho i personal like the redbreast 15 year old better

try looking at some of the Cooley Irish Whiskey, i think they do a 18 single grain whiskey

one think good is a lot of good Irish whiskey has no age statement so you could get her something like Midleton Very Rare
