I don't think you can convert HDMI to DP.

Happy to be proved wrong if someone knows different.

Don't waste your time reading and following the links on that thread - it ends up pointing to a DisplayPort to HDMI adaptor. Like all adaptors involving Dispayport they all work one way only, with the DP at the GPU end.

The adapter listed is the wrong way around. It's DP to HDMI not HDMI to DP.

Cheers chaps, I'll stick to VGA with my 360 and DVI with my PC. When I upgrade I'll strip the HDMI encryption for the consoles and put that through DVI and use display port for my PC.
