1866 ?

ok i have 16 gigs of corsair blue ram the 1866 kit,....4 x4gig sticks , i have them set @1600.....last night went into my BIOS and put the ram to run @1866....rebooted the system and what i got was a black screen with a flashing cursor in the top left hand side on the screen......what does this mean please ??

P.S. i made no other changes in the BIOS ...just the speed.

OK, i was able to go in and put it back @1600.....( should have said that sorry )

I changed nothing in the BIOS apart from the speed

, so presumably it would have stayed as it was
