Yea I know but it will be also used by kids from time to time to play some modern games and miecraft. This is why I'm thinking about i5 4440 or maybe wait for skylake?
 
considered an AM1 5350 + gpu ?

my htpc has a 5350 + GT730 and is seeming unstoppable and uses such little power, entire thing is passive.

edit: granted it won't be pumping out ultra 4K graphics, it can play a surprising amount on low-med with older games at high
