19" Acer AL1916W Or BenQ FP91G+ 19"

Any ideas which one to get ?

what uses? do you have any preferences over WS or 4:3 aspect? At the end of the day, the performance is likely to be very comparable anyway being both 8ms TN Film panels. However, there is obviously a difference in aspect ratio, design and features so that should be what you base your decision on imo

I mainly play BF2 and thats it well SH3 as well

surf the net and Listen to music and the odd dvd

Get the Acer, mine just arrived today and it's absolutely gorgeous. It took me a while to get it sorted as my graphics drivers didn't allow the correct resolution to be set. But once I got hold of the latest drivers all was good. It looks absolutely awesome. :D

yep im starting to like Acer, the 1st Acer i had was bit rubbish, dull colours and brightness, also felt cheap and tacky, but this 19" is very nice.

The Acer is a stunning piece of work :)

But then, I'm biased, I've got one! Once you go WS, you won't go back.

Feel the same way as him ^

Fantastic screen, great for gaming, normally play CS:S and NFS:MW.
And it's so much better than my 14" CRT I had before

Got mine for £181 inc. next day delivery ;)

What about the fact that the Acer, for example, has a res of 1440 x 900. Will that cause lower fps? I like the Acer a lot. Looks like a nice TFT. Also, does it matter that it has no DVI connection?

Yeah im trying to figure out if its a bad thing or not that it doesent have a dedicated Dvi connector...

Also, are there any other Widescreen monitors in "roughly" the same price range as the acer worth considering? Id rather shell out a little bit extra if it means better quality and better for gaming...

Thanks in advance.
