How do guys!

I think my 1900XTX which i bought on release day is going to die soon, the fan makes an unbelievable racket even on windows desktop. I cleaned up the card but it didnt really help much.

My question is this, I dont want to spend a ton of cash on a gfx card again (spent about £400 on this on release) and was wondering how the 2400, 2600 and 2900 stood up against the 1900XTX. Are they significantly better?

I could get 2 x 2400 for about £70 and crossfire them which is madness...
 
Cheers guys, I think im due for a complete system overhaul soon anyway, probably new year, hopefully it will last me till then!! :)
