This site appears to have a load of information on me??? It knows my address, it knows my family members. How and why does this site know this, and is there anyway to get it removed? It appears all the sensitive information is closed to 'premiuim' members, but i don't want to pay to remove them.

Is anyone else's details on this site or has my mum inadvertently done something silly on t'web?
 
it knows it from the electrol register and other public methods of finding people.

people assume they are safe on the internet thinking they are hard with the "come at me bro" bs to tefal...

goto 192.com type your name and your city of residence and i bet theres only a few hits for your address it would be very easy for tefal to find and deliver peice of toast to your letterbox preferably hovis
 
Slightly surprised that I'm on there to be honest. I assumed that if you elected to be taken off the 'edited register' using the option on the electoral roll form, then your details could not be sold to third party companies; I was apparently wrong!!

Edit: There is an option to have your details removed from the 192's registers if you wish, you just need to fill in the form and fax or post it to them.
