Although it now feels a little odd to be spending more on the motherboard than on the CPU
But £800 to get 12c/24t and a mobo to run it on is mental. Shame DDR4 is still stupid money.
X399 boards start around £270.

If I could bang this in a cheap motherboard this would be a bargain. Less speed but 4 more cores than what I have would be sweet.
