1923

Harrison Ford is too old now - presumably he will have plenty of sons/ ranch hands to do the heavy lifting in this.

Pretty good start.

Theres a Dutton family tree in here. Some of it may well be spoilers if you not watched Yellowstone , 1883 or the start of 1923 that explains a bit more of whos who and whos gone. Still big gaps where some main characters have presumably expired off screen.

I really need to give 1883 and now this a shot, Yellowstone has been treading water a while now. I still watch weekly on P+ but I can't see it lasting more than another season or so with this quality of writing. (Yellowstone was never top tier but it was always decent, feels like Sheridan is spread way too thin atm)

Yeah I'm getting quite bored of Yellowstone, the Jamie / Beth poo show is getting really old, Jamie tries to weasel his way out of something by screwing over the family ( after being backed into a corner by the same family) , Beth stops him, end of series , I OWN YOU NOW ( yet again ) rinse and repeat.

Plus every episode now feels like, bit of drama, bit of tension, fiddly diddly country band singing about how great it is to be a cowboy.

Still, thoroughly enjoyed 1883 from start to finish ( its like a brutal TV version of the old old Oregan trail game ) and 1923 could be as good. Theres a lot of life left in the past Dutton stories.

I've honestly gone from disliking Jamie early on to hoping he finally does away with Beth at the train station and gets a happy ending, been screwed over time and time again by his family and spat out.

I've actually quite enjoyed the subdued pace of the last two episodes, just cowboys cowboying, been more engrossing than the over arching story.

Anyway, risk of side tracking this thread so will leave it there :)
