19300 on vantage from a core2 quad system....should i be a happy boy?

just managed to get a sweet spot in the BIOS so the quad is now rocking 3.51GHz

just done a vantage run and hit 19300 on the nose?

is that good, bad or plain ugly?

It's about 3 and a 1/2 times quicker .

So yeah, he owned himself lol.

cpu may or may not have been at stock at the time, I think it was but it was years ago now that I did those benchmarks (using 185 drivers for the 280's and then some beta's for the 295's) Probably get a bit higher now, but Im not going to ever have time to bench it so meh.

Thanks for thats good compare....your CPU trounces mine....9xxx are so much quicker.

Saying that 19300 seems fair against your scores

one test may have had the physx stuff on, cant remember now, there is another one for the 295's which is about 500-1k lower that I have, which is either with physx off or just before i setup my drivers properly
