just a quicky... got an asrock dual vista mobo and now buying a 1950pro but as the pci-e slot is only 4 lane is it still quicker than the agp slot ???
 
Many sites have proved that agp v pci-e bandwidth doesnt make much difference but i would choose pci-e just because of the price plus can be used if you upgrade the motherboard
 
PCI-E as when you eventually upgrade the motherboard, you can take the vid card with you if you can't afford to do both.

Plus the pci-e's are cheaper than agp versions. The pro won't be affected 'that' much at x4 but any faster card will suffer more (x1950xt upwards start to suffer badly from lack of bandwith).
