Hi guys
I normally make my own decisions but at the moment I'm totally bored at work and practically browsing the web all day due to a lack of work. Hence, I keep looking at graphics cards too much and I don't think I can really be that objective at the moment lol.
So... i've just bought myself a Asrock 4CoreDual and e4300 to play with, and keep my 6800le (overclocked) agp and 1gb ddr memory for the moment. However, I keep looking at a brand new 1950pro 512MB for a mere £90, and i'm getting twitchy. I would ideally like the 8800 GTS 320 but I think my wife would murder me lol.
So here's the question. Do I >
1) Just play the waiting game and see what happens with the AMD 2600 when/If it comes out
2) Just buy the x1950pro 512 now as a stop gap until I can either afford a 8800GTS 640 or the next gen dx10 cards come out
3) Hang on for a 8800GTS/2900XT ?
Opinions please, as the 6800LE can't realistically play at 1280 res with games like Stalker/BF2/Oblivion
Thanks,
Matthew
