Hello all,

I got my TR 1950x yesterday and initially set the voltage to 1.35v and multiplier at 41 giving me 4100mhz. Everything is stable and temps seem really low, as I type this the machine is sat at ~28oc using a custom loop. I don't recall the load temperature but it was really quite low vs expectations. I do sit in a very cold room though, it's currently ~12 degrees.

HWbot seems to have limited results, the most impressive being the LN2 o/c but I'm trying to work out what I might expect from this chip in the real world, e.g not using LN and keeping the voltage sensible. I'm wondering what other people have seen from their 1950x CPUs before thermals or crazy voltage becomes an issue.

Thanks.

Nevermind, under the AIDA64 stress test it's hitting about 78oc, however it's not being thermally throttled. Playing games only produces results in the 40-50 degrees mark, these are the actual temps from the Tdie, not the Tctl so the offset is already factored in. Looks like, for me at least anything above 1.35v is just going to produce too much heat to deal with at present.

edit, stress test using CPU & FPU
