1997 Yamaha XV750 Virago fuel filter

Howdy!
I'm struggling to find a replacement fuel filter for a 1997 Virago and would appreciate any pointers or direction as to where I may be able to source one. Does it need to be an official OEM part or are there decent aftermarket parts that are a viable alternative?

Might also be worth calling http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/yamaha/xv_125_virago/97-00/ if you have no luck with Fowlers.

I realised that there were enough non-OEM filters available that may be a better option. As a result I've gone for a modular & washable filter from Amazon because I imagine that I'll be running into this issue again (filthy fuel tank, was supposed to have been washed but wasn't quite done up to standard).
