£19k from nowhere

any updates? if it was me i would ship into my saving account and would not dream of touching it for a good year or two. i'm sure the bank will work it out at some point, but might be able to cream a few quid off the top if you have a good saving account and the bank are a little dippy in tracking it.
 
He's blatently on the run so why is this thread still open?

Either that or dropping the soap in some city prison.
 
I guess there isnt a rule for x amount of months/years that the money isnt reclaimed or found then you get to keep it?

saving account is the best idea I guess. But If you have spent it thought your a tool ....unless you get away with it :D.

I would think that they have paided the wrong cheques into the wrong back account. This happens all the time, all the bank will do is track the account as soon as the customer reports that they havent had the money paided into there account and they will see that the cheques have been paided but into the different account. I dont think your have the money more then 2 weeks before the person that should have got the money notices........ unless they are mega rich and wont notice 19k missing lol.
 
I wouldnt tell the bank, if its there fault. Just dont touch the money, longer its there the more intrest you make, and your legaly right to keep any intrest i generates.
