1gb Ipod nano, possible mem upgrade?

Hi,

I purchased a 1gb Ipod Nano 2 years ago for the other half and had it engraved. It has a lot of emotional attachment to her so I was wondering, instead of buying her a new one is it possible to upgrade the size of the mem in it from 1GB??

I know its been done with a bigger Ipod but not seen anything on this model!

Unlikely as the memory chips are soldered to the main board of the unit. Sorry
