I'm having a problem with my network speeds.

My LAN connection on this computer is 1Gb/s, it was running at the correct speed until now. I don't know how to get it back to 1Gb/s

I've tried to repair / diagnose, but that didn't work.

Is there an option or something that I've missed in the setting on the network card?

Thanks for any help :)

A Network will only go as fast as its slowest component.

For example, if you have 2 PCs, one is 100 and the other is 1000 then they will only xfer data between each other at 100

Or, here is one that I have had happen to me a few times, but if your Mobo has 2 LAN ports, try swapping them over?

Hey, why not?

If you've got two machines, one with a network card capable of 100Mbps and the other 1000Mbps, connected to a gigabit switch, the latter machine will still connect to the switch at 1000Mbps.
Try manually setting it to 1000Mbps, and/or fiddle with the duplex settings?
