1gb mp3 player

Hello, I have a 1gb mp3 player but wull only allow 500-600Mb on it as once u go over that limit it says "Cannot copy {SONG TITLE} : The directory or file cannot be created"

Is there a way to allow more on, like a setting to change?

Are you transferring individual songs or folders. Mine will allow so many single tracks but if they are in folders then I can fill the whole drive.

Just a thought but my workmate was having the same problem with his and he had faulty drivers in XP. See if it will fill to capacity in somebody elses machine.
