Well with those specs 2GB of matched RAM should be your priority tbh, you're crippling it otherwise.

yer but atm i have 5yr + 7yr hard drive which need changing
the graphics card is ok
but i think ill put in 1.5gb as it could make bf2 run fairly smoothly on medium settings

BF2, BF1942 and CoH should all be better with 1.5gig RAM. Personally I'd use it all even if that means running at a slightly lower speed. If you are lucky the PC2700 (DDR333) may overclock a bit allowing you to run somewhere close to DDR 400 speed.

Good luck trying to get 4 sticks with different timings running smoothly in your AMD rig...

lol it will work ;) they all have the same timings but obviously not the same speed so im hoping it should work

im bk it worked got my processor running at 2.7ghz the slow ram doesnt like overclocking
on bf2 and 2142 i have no slow downs or anything like that but loading maps do take bit longer probally becuase of bandwidth
during desktop and photoshop all run smoothly
looks like my single core doesnt need a big memory bandwidth
