Slightly over, but thats ok.
I'm going to be using it for gaming, photo-editing and media streaming.
I have 2tb hhd for media already, so i might skip the hdd in this spec.
I'm going to be using my TV as a monitor for a short while, not ideal i know, will get a nice monitor when i've saved a bit more.
Will be adding a decent soundcard after that, i'm a bit of an audiophile but will ask about that when the time comes.

Things i'm not sure about in this build, do i have enough power? 650w maybe?
The MSI 670 is just a reference card, but saves me a good chunk of money, and its still a 670, right?
I'm a bit clueless about motherboards, but this one came recommended, i'm happy with Asus as a brand, i was also considering the Maximus V Gene.

Let me know what you think, suggestions and advice are really appreciated.

Assuming you don't need an OS looks good, although bare in mind that with stock fans the Antec Kuhler is rather loud at higher temperatures and you'd be better off spending £50 on a decent air cooler instead, you can generally get better performance from air cooling too.

Also, the non-blue version of the Vengance RAM is £10ish cheaper: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-307-CS

So if you save the £10 on the RAM it gives you extra money to spend on one of these maybe: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-020-AL&groupid=701&catid=2330&subcat=

Kicking the power supply up a notch to 750W would allow you to add another GTX 670 for SLI if your not satisfied with the performance, which I doubt you would be.

I meant to say that, don't need OS.
I've been reading a lot on air coolers vs water, i'm not going to be doing extreme overclocking, and i'm mildly interested in having smart tidy looking internals.
My thinking is that if the fans start to bug me, i can swap them out at a later date.
Love the reply speed, thanks a lot.

You can get away with 550w but the with the extra wattage you might be able to get away with 2nd card.

The difference between the SSD's I think in minimal :)

I tested my system today and I got 360w from the mains with Furmark and Prime running.

(Overclocked i7 2700k, Gigabyte 670 GPU, Custom water and severals HDD'S and SSD.)

I would say 500w-550w if you're never going to add another graphics card, then 750w if you're going Sli, not sure if you'd get away with 650w, maybe if you got an XFX or Corsair...

The difference between the M4 and 830 as stated is tiny, either one should do you very well :)

I would look at getting a decent air cooler instead really, it will most likely be better than the antec but if you're upgrading later then it's up to you.

Best of luck :)

You're swaying me on the air cooler, i'll have to think that one over.
I can't see me ever going for a second card, when the time comes, i'd sell my card and buy a new single card.
