I spend a fair amount of time in photoshop and lightroom, and do some video editing. So need something to be able to deal with that, without waiting an age for adjustments to be applied like I currently do.
I don't play games on a pc.
I have NO idea what I need, I know the names of each components
and how to put it together, but that's the extent of my knowledge.
As above about 1k ish for build but can spend more.
I already have Windows 7 retail, so can stick that on the pc and put Windows XP back on the laptop, think I can do that?
Would like a case that you can't see into.
SSD and two other drives for storage and extra backup.
27 Monitor, need to start looking at some as they vary quite widely in price.
Keyboard and maybe mouse, I already have one that I've had for years but it's a laptop one so could go back to a bigger size.
Would also need speakers, I mainly use headphones but some half decent speakers would be good.
