£1k to spend..spec me please

I have a friend's sister who is getting into photography and wants to buy a powerful PC to do her work on. I haven't had new hardware for 3-4 years so I do not know what tech is out.

Requirements are

Decent Quality monitor required
PC - Best spec for the money, needs a SSD and maybe 1TB of storage, she is getting a NAS for backup.
It needs to be an out of the box system too.

She is also considering a laptop too, but I advised her on the PC as its best bang for buck?

Plenty of room for expansion i.e a larger SSD if need be or anything else you might need. The GPU is probably overkill but will be worth it if working with larger photos.
