Can anyone help me out. I'm looking for a power cable to connect my external radiator fans to my pc. I will be using 6x silentwings 3 120mm fans and for future proof with the cable I am after comething atleast 1m long. They will be taped to my tubing to keep them tidy and I will happily just plug them straight into the power rather than onto the motherboard, molex or sata whichever can be found. The fans can also be connected to a hub on my radiators so don't need fan connector on the end of the molex or sata cable.

Would look ridiculous using 2 of them. I've got 3y splitters and a hub so don't need all the fan plugs. I just need either sata to sata, molex to sata or molex to molex cable.

Also would they be OK to power 6 fans plugged directly to psu rather than mother board? Not guna burn the cable out am I?

It would be OK to put them together like that? If that's the case I could just buy more if I needed to make it longer.

EDIT - I've seen many of these external radiator builds and people either make their own extra long cable or stick them together like suggested above I'd imagine. So it wouldn't really be pointless.

The downside of daisy chaining cables is the risk of failure from so many connectors.

Had a molex to molex short out after years behind the motherboard tray because ????

And by short out I mean it set fire to the power cable plastics and sent a plume of smoke out the top of the case before I whacked the psu switch. At least it had the decency to do it while I was right there.

You can get longer runs and you can make your own.
