1st attempt at eyefinity.

hey all.

i want to setup an eyefinity but not want to go mental ie loads of money. does the size of monitor mater? i would be happy with 3 19in and a decent card.

iv shopped about on oc and other places and came up with

Would not work with that card.

You would require a card capable of 3xVGA connectors, due to the monitor. That one is only capable of 2 vga, with a dvi converter and displayport converter. HDMI cannot carrry vga.
The connections matter a lot in this case. Look for monitors capable of DVI, you would also need a displayport converter if the monitors do not have it.

The card is fine you just need to get a monitor with DVI,HDMI and VGA they did have a Sapphire Active DP to SL-DVI-D Adapter Cable on OcUK but it not currently available so just do a search for one works better than the DisplayPort to VGA.. I have 3 screens running with DVI, HDMI and Displayport to DVI and have had no problems and games look awsome in ultra widescreen.
