Hi first of all I’d like to introduce myself, most people call me Jay  I’m 17 from London. I’ve recently been reading up on building your own pc and I find the idea quite interesting. I’m still a beginner but I wish to go for my 1st build but the budget is really tight since its from my own savings I’ve got a £400 budget. The main use for this pc will be for gaming – I know it’s not enough for a high spec gaming pc but I’m hoping I’d be able to build a medium spec gaming pc.

I do not require a monitor, speakers, mouse, keyboard or operating system. I just need the tower with all the hardware and fans etc ready for use and possible over clocking.

Im not too fused whether it be AMD or Intel, Nvidia or ATi. The main thing I for me I guess is the GPU. And with this budget itd be helpful if everything is the best bang for buck :P

Thanks for your time in advance Jay .

Just had a quick google session over stulid's suggestion seems all good, and no im in no rush just felt like its time to try out my 1st build. The only problem i see is the VAT 20% is abit harsh :/

But thank you guys for the help :)

Thanks for the help, well im in no rush so ideas are still welcome. Also I read somewhere on the forum theres a code to avoid VAT I think just wondering if thats still working or any other ways to lower it? :)
