Hello all, my account was just activated today! I have been browsing the forums and lurking for a bit, and just thought I'd join. I'm pretty regular on the RS owners club and passionford. I also have the distinction of being dfhaii's brother. :eek:

Bit of a chav mobile i admit, but i like it all the same, and am on serious look out for a cossie in october once i get a year ncb on my weekend car policy.

what cossie you after? a friend in work just dragged his saph out after garaging it for over a year!

got something like 60k on the clock only, original except for the scorpion exhaust. will have to get a ride in it once its mot'd :D
 
In an ideal world a black rs500 with a low comp 200 block, maram shafted T4 turbo with ALS and launch control and 500+ bhp with 9" rear diff, R&D box, AP brakes, remote reservoir shocks, carbon stack dash etc.

In the real world a nice standard or no more than stage 3 rwd saff with leather that needs some tlc. I don't mind spending on it, as it is the car i have wanted since i was 13/14/15 and would have to able to buy an rs200 to eventually let it go.

nah your not sad, if you are then many many more people in here are just as sad. we all wanted a specific car at that age, mine was (and still is to an extent) an escort cossie. one day :]

Thats not sad - there's nothing at all wrong with having a dream !

Mine was for a Mk1 MR2 when i was that age (yes am an old sod :D ) Eventually done it tho - got myself a minted Mk1 which i've only recently sold - so keep your dream bud and you'll get your RS500 one day :D

Btw - your current Escort RS looks pretty good to me, oh and welcome to the forums ;)

Love your car! Had an XR3i for a lil while and spent over £500 on getting rid of the rust but it eventually gave in to tin worm and I sold it for £50, would still love to buy an RS Turbo as a project and get it all restored, how long did it take you to get it to that stage?
