So mum has been using a Doro for best part of 10 years (her 1st mobile ever, payg) but wants to move to a phone that has a good quality camera (pics of grand kids), attempt Facebook/Whats App with her younger sisters (doesn't own a computer/tablet or internet connection at home). I think I have the sim only rolling deal sorted with an O2 £8p/m Unlimitied calls/text and 8gig data. However the phone, I am at a loss as to what to look at. I currently have a Honour 9 which she cannot operate in normal mode however if I switch it into simple mode she kinda fumbles through it, so I think (famous last words) with some coaching she could manage a phone with a simple big icon UI, any ideas? Budget would be £150 max, many thanks

Phones are basically all going to he Android at that price range so just set it up in simple mode and arrange the home screen for her with the apps she will use, then lock it so she accidentally can't change them?

Does that mean ALL android phones have a simple mode? I was made to believe by guy in O2 that most phones don't have simple/easy mode built in? I am hoping there might be an skin you could download to create a simple environment but not being up to date with phones I have no "general" idea on phones.

I think there are launcher replacements that you can use to simplify android use and some manufacturers put in a simple/easy mode.
