Hi i'm buying a 2nd hand coolermaster Eisberg and XSPC ex 240 rad to cool my new 3930k, but don't really know about fittings etc.

I'm tempted by 16/10 tubing, but there's doesn't seem to be as good availability of cheap fittings as there are for 13/10.

Also what are the pro/cons of each size?

I've heard good things about the primochill tubing http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-097-PM&groupid=962&catid=1530&subcat=2579

But what about these XSPC fittings http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-256-XS&groupid=962&catid=1529&subcat=2582

Also should i get anything to flush/clean the loop as both the pump/block and radiator are 2nd hand?

Also any advice on coolant? I'm not after anything fancy, just something that works.

Also is there anything else i need/tips on setting up and filling the loop etc..

1 more thing - i know the eisberg runs at 7 and 12 volts but if i got a voltage reducer (like with Noctua fans) could i get it running at like 10 volts or a variety of voltages/speeds?

Thanks in advance

Dave

I use 16/11 (5/8", 7/16") tube

Also what are the pro/cons of each size?

Better flow with larger tube but on a short loop not much different

Primochill is a good make

But what about these XSPC fittings http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-256-XS&groupid=962&catid=1529&subcat=2582

I use XSPC compressions, XSPC is a good make

Also should i get anything to flush/clean the loop as both the pump/block and radiator are 2nd hand?

Distilled water from any chemist/hardware/car shop

Also any advice on coolant? I'm not after anything fancy, just something that works.

Mayhems clear

Also is there anything else i need/tips on setting up and filling the loop etc..

Not really

Is is a 4pin or 3pin connection, if 4pin, a PWM controller will work or use the motherboard fan control, if 3pin, only varying the voltage will work.
Thanks in advance

awesome, thanks nkata. What about getting rid of bubbles how does that work???

With the Eisberg, you can prefill it before fitting it and keeping the cooler above the rad should help in fully filling it. Do it in a sink and move it about a bit whilst filling.
