:(

Finally got my V12 kit up and running earlier this afternoon and much to my dismay I discovered this not long after...

Anybody seen similar?

Now I am faced with the task of draining the system and returning the pump/ reservoir and having to do most of loop all over again!

All other fitting seemed fine as well.

Unsure how I am going to be able to check. I will need to cut the tubing to be able to remove reservoir due to the 1/2" barbs and the 7/16" ID tubing, so afterwards I wont have enough tubing to do another test run! :(

All my off cuts are too short to get from res to cpu block and from gpu block back to res.

Cheers for link by the way, I will have a good read at that this evening. Pretty gutted tbh because everything else looked great... apart from a very small kink in the tubing from radiator to gpu but I have a wee solution to that hopefully.

The bay and res came pre assembled as part of Overclockers V12 kit.

Quite reluctant to take assembly apart, but may have to resort to that.

Could possibly run the res and pump as a closed loop outside system just connecting inlet and outlets with 1 of my tubing off cuts, once I re-assemble to see if problem persists???

Removed the pump and housing and couldn't really see a cause. Assuming that the housing wasn't tight enough to form a water tight seal with the o-ring.

Have got the pump running currently after re-assembling and tightening the housing further. Only got pump running itself looping straight from outlet to inlet - this cannot cause damage can it?

I simply do not have any tubing long enough to put res back in sytsem until I can get re-supplied.

Wait until you have more tubing, then setup a little loop out of the PC so you can test it. I found the pump has to be screwed on quite firmly, although never had a leak.

Cheers Rich, I have set up a wee loop with some of remaining tubing I have left and ran it for a while and seems fine. Will test it some more tomorrow and again friday until my tubing arrives.

Ignore the blue blotch on kitchen roll. That is just the pattern on reverse side showing through haha!

And here is the loop during leak testing prior to me discovering the leak from pump. Not entirely happy with the tubing from radiator to gpu. Seems to kink slightly (in part due to weight from quick disconnect), so have ordered a rotary to see if that helps. Other than that I am quite pleased with how it looks. Hopefully I encounter no more problems when I re-do loop Fiday/ Saturday.

You can get anti-kink coils to stop bending, or try and alter the angle of tubing.

Hope you get it sorted. :)
