1st W/C project and it's a Parvum!

Aaah, slightly gutted now lol, was hoping you had an awesome trick with them or something lol.

Yeh, so just get the rads you like the looks of then if ya dont want the ones weve mentioned!

lol, sorry to disappoint you :D
I think they look great and come in at a reasonable price.

The case can fit up to 35mm up top and 45mm at the front, so I figured that these fitted the bill very well.
Since OcUK don't have the FPI/dimensions for a lot of the HWlabs stuff and I was in a bit of a rush, I didn't look into them too hard tbh.
I was also considering the added expense of having to use GT's if going with higher FPI rads, so settled on the Alphacools as great all-rounders for price/performance.

Spent most of the evening looking at parvum builds and noticed people have only used the fans on the rads and no 80 mm exhaust, I checked 8 packs and I couldn't see none on his either, would I need them?

Depends on whether the rads are set up to intake or exhaust. You'll want some kind of case intake/exhaust depending on which way you go.

A lot of people tend to have the front rad on intake and the top rad on exhaust. I'm not a fan of this, as it means that the heat from the front rad gets fed into the top rad. Then they have a rear case exhaust which doesn't do much except take away air from the top rad fans...
Still, while it isn't optimal, it works well enough in most cases I guess.

If I was running the rads like that, I'd have a couple of 80mm fans on intake at the back.

ED: Also, some of the setups you've been looking at may be showcase builds where it's more about looks than performance/functionality.

Yeah this is where mine would differ.

I will be using it near everyday for gaming, haven't even though about overclocking yet but that's another issue lol

So the parvum has 3 x 80 mm for exhaust so use all 3?

Ok, hard to do this on my iPhone because I can't draw a case layout but:

2 x 120 intake on the front radiator
2 x 80 as exhaust on the rear
2 x 120 on the top radiator as?

This is an extreme crash course in watercooling!
Wait til I try and install it

Sounds ok but what you explain makes sense about hot air up the top, So for optimization have both sets of rad fans on intake and a couple of 80mm as exhaust?

I'd bung filters on the 120's aswell, sorry for the trouble petey you and davido have been very helpful still got lots to sort after this lol

The way I'm going to have it set up (at first anyway, it's always worth trying different ways)

The front and top as intake
3 80mm exhausts

I realise this might give me issues with dust, because of the pressure, but I think the temps should be better. As I say though, il try a few combos see what works best.

Yeh no worries, it might be a while until I get it built fully I've started a project log off already though (I think I called it 'not another project log... Oh go on then' or something similar!

I've got a lot of stuff for the build, but missing a motherboard and Cpu at the moment!
