Well as a few of you know I am venturing into my first watercool build.

So I thought I would post my progress so far with pics etc........

So far so good and all with a jigsaw

did you use a dremel and/or jigsaw?

very clean edges from what i can see - hope mine looks as smooth as that when i'm done.

What I did was use the grill as a template and mark it out onto masking tape.

I then used a drill to cut a number of holes into each square blow hole so I could get the jigsaw blade in and 'off I went'. It is quite fiddly but persevere and use a file to smooth the edges.

Looking real nice Jase :)

Thanx welshboyo I will post some more pics later today with fans and rad fitted.

All I can say is the case is a dream to work on and massive to. I took a long time pondering over what case I was going to use and I think I made the right choice.

Laters :)

Well the rad and fans are in.

Had a problem with my XSPC bay res so had to send it back so its gonna hold my build up for a day or two.

You guys reckon this is the best place for the pump I cant think of anywhere else to put it.

Looking great so far.

Just a quick question, where are you putting the psu?

Yeah with the G70 you have the option of putting the PSU at the top or bottom. In my case it will go to the bottom.

Dont laugh at my 'Paint' attempt its the best I could do :D

Anyhow this is my planned loop, and all comments / critisicm are more than welcome.

Very nicely done, couldn't find my guide with the search still being off but not needed as you've done a grand job.

Generally the order of components makes little difference other that keeping the res before the pump to prevent cavitation & keep tubing lengths relatively short and kink free.

I'd consider turning the rad around if you can, so the bleed valve is easily accessible through the bay covers. The tubing should fit through the holes on the PSU shelf.

On your layout pic I'd run res>pump>CPU>rad>res to reduce the tubing lengths.

I'm tempted to sell my PC-75 and get one of these myself :D
