I've been unable to get 1T timings on this, and it's been bothering me for a while. Main problem is the Memory options on the 9NPAJ:

A fair bit more complicated (looking, at least) than i'm used too. Doesn't seem to be an option for command rate there either.

CPU is at 234 x 9 = 2100 after my half-baked overclocking. Divider is set to Auto.

Can i get 1T on this memory at all, and if so, what stupid mistakes am i making?

Hi that bios looks the same as mine apart from above Cas latency there should be another line that says command rate 1T/2T. Have you got the latest bios for your board. See epox's site here to determine if you have the latest. If not fire up magic bios latset version is 2.2 get it here 5th one down. If you scroll down the bios page you will see a version 9npa5914.bin (14 Sep 2005) that has the following features:-

Hide: Memory 1T/2T item for C0 version CPU.

Added: DIMM over-voltage up to 3.2v

Added: CPU overclock up to 450Mhz

Fixed: "PWRON after PWR-Fail" function fail for F71872F

Added: Show Correct SATA hard disk string

Patched: System boot from USB FDD,and USB mouse enable in BIOS,PS2/USB KB can't work.

I am not sure if that removed the option or fixed a problem where it was hidden. There has been several updates since then though so it may be worth checking to see what version you have. I can't see any logical reason to hide it though. Sorry i can't be any more help.

Well, it worked :D I had thought i was up to date with the Magic Bios Updates, certainly updated quite a few times since Dec 05 (latest release listed on the site). Grabbed the 2.2 version to make sure, but i definitely have the latest Bios revision now. Always was a dodgey-looking piece of software...

Happy to get it solved anyway.
