So how do you connect to this? Will it just be for download to everyone on Xbox live? Or will you need a beta key like a few other games have done?

Going by the website there it starts at midnight on Friday (as Thursday rolls into it). I wonder when the first actual game will begin, though?

The prizes table near the bottom of the page says there are live shows on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th, so it begins straight away from the looks of it.

I played the US beta a couple of times (be nice not to have to stay up till 2am to play the live show!) thought it was really well done actually, the live shows really do feel like a live TV show there is a host reading out emails and the actual contestants gamertag and everything! The odds of you getting being the one or the mob are pretty damn high though was 31,000 players playing when I had a go!

You can still win prizes in the crowd though but you need to be in the top 3 scorers for the whole show to win something.

If it works like the US version then the 1v100 client downloads automatically when it's available to download.

It starts at 7.30pm tonight. There is a box under Game Marketplace where you can download the client and set yourself a reminder for this evening.

I read somewhere that there are no prizes at all during this beta. The game starts proper in September or something.
