HI,
I'm looking to make a custom W/C loop. Atm when i turn my PC on it's like a plane taking off. To start off with, all i am planning to do is my CPU, as that + my PSU(replacing) is making most of the noise
Now, do you think that a single 120mm Rad would be enough (bear in mind i'm not on the ultimate processor here, though i might be clocking it soon (got it to 3.6 the other day without any voltage change, but some games wouldn't run)
I have an INWIN Griffin case. There are Two 120mm Fan spaces on the side together, so i could put a 240rad in, BUT that's the side of the case i take off....so not really planning to do that!
I could put a 120mm rad in the front, and/or in the back (Replacing 120mm Exhaust fan.)
Alternatively, i guess i could mount a 120mm Rad in my spare 5.25" bays (i'm pretty handy with a hacksaw), although that would scupper my plans for a 5.25" mounted Res.
I know my case i nowhere near ideal, but i want to stick with it, and see if i can make do.
I guess i could drill a load of holes in the top, and mount a 240 rad in there, extending out into the 5.25" bays (and just lower my CD drive)
And a new PSU is obvious, but what sorta wattage am I going to be needing? (i'll make sure it's a more reputable brand than what I have atm
)
Or, i could just buy a H50, although it's not the same really :/
Any thoughts/suggestions?
