Hi guys,

I run a dual-PC streaming setup and am currently investigating a way to run one microphone on both PCs. I have no idea what I'm doing so please slap me if what I'm proposing here is idiotic, but does this idea make sense?

So the end result is that the AT-2020 XLR mic becomes 2x 3.5mm plugs that go to the line-in on each PC.

Am I insane or will that work? Is there an easier way?

The parts are;

AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Microphone
Male to Female XLR Mic Lead
ALTO ZMX52 5-Channel Mixer
3.5mm to 2x 6.35mm Cable
CSL 3.5mm to 3.5mm Coupler
3.5mm Splitter
2x 3.5mm to 3.5mm Cable

Thanks everyone!

That does indeed look like it should work. But it would probably been easier just to connect on PC to the left and the other to the right outputs.

Since the mic input is mono it'll be sending the same signal to both outputs.
