connected my plasma telly to my card via hdmi and it dropped my dell to 1080p from 1200. and i want to keep native rez on each

dell 1920x1200 via dvi
panasonic plasma 1920x1080p via hdmi

anyway i can do this with either nvidia control panel or by other software ?

Are you running the screens as Extended, or Duplicated? If Duplicated then you will only be able to run the lower resolution on both (or the higher resolution on both if Nvidia's DSR can do this). If you run the screens as Extended desktops then you should be able to set each to whatever resolution you want independently.

ok res ok but now no tool bar on tv just desktop wallpaper
maybe i need to explain more.....my tv is behind me on the wall

main reason is so when people are in my house they can sit on the sofa and watch what im doin..and to save my dad swan necking over my shoulder if u know what i mean

win8.1 also has the tool bar on every screen, but if what GSXR is saying is that he wants the TV to show exactly what he is going on the main screen then he needs to duplicate, which means they need to both be the same resolution, you might be able to set a custom screen resolution and then the TV will cut or squash the image to make it fit what it can display

in NVCP, go to Display > Change Resolution... select the TV and then click "customise" and then add the resolution

if that doesn't work the Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) is another program you can download

whether or not the TV will accept it is a different matter

Unlikely, HDMI is a bit funny about what resolutions it supports.

A bit convoluted, but why couldn't you 'stream' your desktop and then have your browser open on the TV with the stream open.

Also you may need to apply scaling/overscan. Ive always had to on all my TVs. They are deep in the settings somewhere but Ive never done it on a nvidia system.
