2.1 Speakers for music?

I've been using a cheap 5.1 setup for a while, which I've regreted ever since buying since it's absolutely rubbish as far as music goes. I've decided to go 2.1 since my room isn't ideal for a 5.1 setup and i reckon 2.1 should be better for music.

My Budgets about £100, so I'm willing to get some good speakers.
Which ones should I get? The emphasis is on good sound for music but I will be gaming with them.

Is the Aego M series the best there is? I checked the slightly more expensive Altec Lansing MX5021 review sand every one was very positive, normally
scoring above 90%. Are these a good choice or are the Aego M's just as good?
I have a Creative X-FI Xtreme Music sound card.

Unfortunately it's not really within my budget to buy a decent HI-FI system for music that will be worth my while, but just out of interest, what sort of price would I have to pay to decent but cheapish Hi-Fi? Might be a project for the future

Yeah, they do look pretty cool, but I think I prefer the Aego M. I've seen them in person and they're really small!
Why do you wish you had the Aego M exactly? I heard the bass on the Altic Lansing isn't Brilliant.
Anybody know which one is better?

Thanks for all your suggestions. After searching the forums for Aego M i decided to go with them as there are a lot of positive remarks about them, and they were the cheaper (My budget was not quite what I thought it was).
There's also a spare Hi-Fi in the house, and I'm going to check that out for a music possibility. I'm going to look into buying a decent Hi-Fi over time, but i like to do a lot of research.
I'll post back here to say what they're like, just for anybody else who searches through the forum for Aego M
