2.1 Speakers: Logitech, Klipsch or Altec Ant ?

budget around £100

either

Klipsch Promedia GMX
Logitech Z-2300
Altec Lansing MX5021

any ideas please ?

Z-2300s look OK, BUT I had a pair of Z-560 4.1s, which I thought were pretty good (gave them to my dad !! - not sure why), and Z-5500s which I thought were pretty awful (one note overblown slow bass)

any recommendations please ?

do look darn good - have you got a pair.

just a pity about having to reach down for the volume all the time

just spotted these too ... I have a spare Cambridge Audio amp - but I'm not sure.

I had a pair of hifi speakers with my PC a long time ago, and although hifi speakers are a lot better than pc speakers, they're not so good I think when they are sat on a table (ie not on proper stands) and are about 8 inches from your face.

looks like the Aegos are pretty well recommended then

presumably bass is still good - just not overbearing like the Logis ?
