2.1 Speakers

Ok i've had a set of Creative Digital 5.1 Speakers for almost 3 years now I think, I find myself never using 5.1 and thought about going for a decent set of 2.1 Speakers.

So far 2 have caught my eye and am deciding between the Logitech Z-2300's or the Acoustic Energy Aego 2.1 Speakers, i've heard many great things about *** Aego's but also heard some good feedback on *** Logitech's.

Any other reccomendations in the price range of £50-£100's are welcome.

Simply put, Logitech Z-2300's or Acoustic Energy Aego.
 
Never heard either but AE should know more about making good speakers than Logitech, and the Aego M's seem to get very good user feedback on here.
 
I have the Acoustic Energy Aego's. They are excellent speakers, very solid and sound amazing. Everything is so much clearer :)

I'd pick the Aego's. They should offer higher sound quality. The Logitech will probably beat them in sheer volume and bass output (albeit boomy type bass), but the Aego's should sound clearer and more integrated :) . Either should be significantly better than your 5.1 and changing to quality 2.1 is a good option imo. Search this forum for the Aego's (comments etc), undisputed that they are an excellent set for the money, probably the best :)
