Im thinking of adding another 470 for BF3. I will have HBAO or SSAO disables as it drains fps and seems to cause mouse lag.

Will i be able to have all other settings on max with 16af and 2 or 4 aa at 60 fps?

Plus can the 470 do tri sli?

Running 2x gigabyte 470 oc's here, at 1920x1200 with the settings below.

I was getting 65+ fps, gpu's clocked at 750/1500/1674. On ultra, (though its reputed that it wasnt fully included in the beta) i was getting about 50+.

SLI is a good idea but prepare for heat and noise well ventalated case is a must

And yer they do tri sli very well :) i play at 2560x1440 on high and got 60-70 fps in caspin border and up to 80 in metro outside the up too 110 indoors with tri-sli @750/1500/1700

As above, good airflow is a must with theese cards, as is a good psu, with the spec in sig im drawing 630w at the wall in games. I found in the metro map, in the tunnels i was getting upto 130 fps on the above settings, max memory usage on the cards was about 1200mb.

@Mr May, have you tried them much higher than 750, now that all three are under water and a new psu?

For 3 of them youll need a new psu, (1000w+) two will put a lot of stress on the psu you have in sig nevermind 3 of them.

Im getting a HAF X case so airflow should be fine.

3 it is then.

a raven case would be better as having them horizontal will stack the heat and cause problems

They can go up too 800 but require a lot of volts, Also i only have 2 under water with a aircooled one in between the 2 water cooled 1's

Iam going to re pump it all so i can put the air cooled one at the bottem, where there is a lot of airflow and leave the other 2 under water as i cant justify getting anoth water block and back plate at £100 when i got the last pair for £60 second hand :(

Im considering moving my psu to the top slot in my case, see if i can get better airflow around both cards.

Theyll do 800mhz at 1.012 but get pretty hot.

Good cards mate  low voltages there i need 1.37 for that

and shoulds like a good idea but you'll probably need some 6 pin extenders

Just noticed you have the same ram as me :D brillaint looking arnt they in the flesh

I was considering a few pre braided extensions, the ram is the 1600mhz c7 reaper kit, they do indeed look the part, used reapers in my previous s775 rigs as well.
