2-4GB with Win XP worth it?

Hi guys, just noticed i can get another set of Corsair 1GB's sticks of RAM for £40 from here. Is it worth it sticking these in my current XP 32-bit setup? I know i will only see 3.25gb's (until i go to Vista x64). Will i see any performance drop? I.e lose the effect of dual channel memory?

Also do you think an Asus PK5 Deluxe will be ok with 4x1GB sticks of RAM?

do you ever use all 2gb of your RAM that you have at present?

if no, then buying more is a waste of money.

Well when i run SupCom Fa it gets quite close, seemed like a good idea considering the chance to get another lot of the same stuff.....

if you think it'll help, and you have nothing better to spend 40 quid on, then you may as well.

don't expect to see a massive boost in performance though
