2.55v on a 2.5v board??

Hi, quick question - my mobo is designed for ram at 2.5v (pc 2100) - would I be able to run any other voltage (i.e. 2.55v) with no problem? it's a PC CHIPS M825lu socket A board by the way.

i done that and it works but the RAM will under perform after a while for some reason.

i have DDR400 CAS 2.5@6-3-3.

On my old 2.5v Pentium 4 mainboard, the latencies changed to CAS 3@8-4-4 after a week. Strange thing is, the bandwidth was still DDR266 :S

Cheers for letting me know - it's only for about six months then I am getting a new system so it's just a tide over!
