2.8 or 3.0

Is it worth going from 2.8ghz to 3.0ghz with e6300 on the ds3, been reading about the mb changing from 1066 to 1333 and losing performance.

My system performs a lot better at 3GHz compared to 2.8GHz, of course that's only noticable in 3D Mark scores. In gaming and desktop applications it's practically identical, not like going from 1.8GHz to 2.8GHz.
